植物の隙間から立ち上がる像は、アイコンのようでいて、どこにも属さない。

完成しないまま留まるそのかたちは、見ることの途中にある。
現実と虚構のあいだで揺れ続ける、未完のしるし。

It appears to take on a form, yet dissolves the moment it is named.
Emerging from within the gaps of foliage, the image resembles an icon, but belongs nowhere.

Remaining unfinished, it lingers in the act of seeing.
A mark in suspension, wavering between reality and fiction.

Profile

1981年長野県生まれ、静岡県育ち。
2005年多摩美術大学美術学部絵画学科版画専攻卒業。

植物が繁る風景をモチーフに、落描きのような線で描かれた生き物を組み合わせた絵画を制作。誰も気に留めない草むらや庭の隅など、日常の風景の中に潜む異界の気配をテーマに制作を続けている。
